Tom is dedicated to strengthening the local economy by supporting small businesses and attracting new investment in the Lumber City. As mayor, he will build on efforts to revitalize key business districts like downtown and Oliver Street while tackling long-neglected sites such as Mid-City Plaza and Lowry Middle School. By transforming these areas into vibrant hubs for commerce and community life, Tom will create new opportunities for growth and bring renewed energy to every corner of the city. By fostering a pro-business environment, Tom will ensure that entrepreneurs and residents alike can prosper in a city built for success.

Tom will prioritize repairing roads, modernizing outdated infrastructure, and making responsible investments in public transportation. He is committed to addressing the city's aging water and sewer systems, ensuring they remain reliable for generations to come. Tom believes in a common-sense approach to development—one that preserves our city’s character while preparing for the future. Through smart zoning policies, responsible budgeting, and strategic project prioritization, he will ensure that growth is both sustainable and beneficial to all residents.

As our city’s former Police Chief, Tom has spent his career protecting residents and leading efforts to reduce crime. As mayor, he will ensure law enforcement has the tools and resources to keep our streets safe while taking a proactive approach to combating blight and revitalizing neighborhoods. That means cracking down on absentee landlords, cleaning up abandoned properties, and working with the community to restore pride in our city. A safer, cleaner city starts with strong leadership, and Tom is ready to deliver results.

Taxpayers deserve a government that is efficient, accountable, and fiscally responsible. As mayor, Tom will ensure transparency, so residents know exactly where their hard-earned tax dollars are going. He will fight to keep budgets under the tax cap, cut wasteful spending, and implement common-sense cost-saving measures. He will also implement the recommendations identified by the NYS State Comptroller’s 2020 Audit, and again recommend in the 2025 Audit Follow-Up Report. Tom believes in leadership that listens, and wants to hear directly from the community and put their priorities first.

North Tonawanda has experienced unprecedented growth over the past two decades, and as mayor, Tom will ensure that momentum continues. Having served on the police force, he remembers a time when visitors saw NT as a city in decline—but today, it is a community on the rise. Tom will promote tourism by investing in our waterfront, supporting local events, and working with businesses to attract more visitors to our historic downtown and entertainment districts. He will also prioritize improving amenities, and expanding recreational opportunities to create a more vibrant, welcoming city. By showcasing everything North Tonawanda has to offer, Tom will drive economic growth and make our community a place where people want to visit, live, and invest.
